Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy for Hermanus Accommodation

  1. Booking Acceptance

    Subject to availability, we will confirm your booking via fax or email, once the payment of the deposit has been made.

  2. Deposit

    We require a non-refundable deposit of 20% with your booking. The outstanding balance must be settled before arrival. The cost for any other additional reqirements/services must also be be settled prior to arrival.

  3. Breakage deposit

    We require a breakage deposit (Whale Cove: R2000, 00 & Vermont: R5000,00) which will be refunded after the inspecting results have been taken into account. The refund shall be made within 21 working days. Should there be any costs payable to SARS, it will be for the account of the client. Kindly note that the breakage deposit is only for minor mishaps and, should any major damage be caused to the structure or furniture within the homes, this will be for the account of the client.

  4. Damage to Property

    The client will be held reponsible for any breakages or damage to the property and the building caused due to negligence by the client or his/her guests/family members.

  5. Late Departure

    A penalty fee equal to a day's tariff will be enforced for late departure.

  6. Cancellation Policy

    Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
    Cancellation 30 to 60 days prior to arrival - deposit plus 25% of total bill
    Cancellation 14 to 29 days prior to arrival - deposit plus 60% of total bill
    0 to 13 days prior to arrival - 100% of total bill

  7. Payment Method

    Payments can be made either by means of an electronic transfer or direct deposit. Please indicate your reference number with all payments.

  8. Exclusion of Liability

    While every care is taken neither, 4Property Solutions, Vermont or Whale Cove nor any of its employees or agents shall be held liable for any personal damage, injury or loss of any nature incurred by the client and his guests/family members during their stay.

  9. Smoking

    Guests should please take note that we have a strict no smoking policy.

  10. Animals and Pets

    No animals are permitted at our accommodation facilities and therefore Guests are requested not to bring along any pets.

  11. Events

    Please take note that our accommodation facilities are for private use only and are not meant to be used as events venues.

  12. Subletting

    Please note that subletting is not permitted. Accommodation facilities for 6 people only! A penalty of 1 day's fee will be enforced should any subletting take place.

NB: We kindly ask that you and your guests please take care of our homes and leave them in the same condition as they were at the start of your vacation.
